West Parry Sound OPP are investigating a fatal single motor vehicle collision that happened on Killbear Provincial Park Road in Carling Township. Officers remain at the scene and the entrance to the park is closed while they investigate. Last night at 10:29pm a single motor vehicle lost control and collided with a tree. A 17 year old female died at the scene. Her name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The Killbear Provincial Park Road is expected to open at 9am.
