Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for much of southern Ontario, including Muskoka Parry Sound. Around 20 to 40 millimeters of rain is forecast for some areas, with up to 50mm expected in areas with thunderstorms. Rain will begin this evening and continue in to Saturday night. The weather bureau says it will feel more like fall Saturday and Sunday with cooler air following the rain with highs around 16.
