Orillia OPP want to make sure residents of Orillia and surrounding areas are aware of some new stop signs. The location of a new 4-way stop is at the intersection of Westridge Boulevard and Bass Lake Sideroad in Orillia. Police have received complaints that many motorists aren't stopping and are not aware of the new signs. Several times it's almost resulted in collisions. At all 4-way stop intersections, everyone must come to a stop. When two vehicles arrive and stop at the same time, the driver to the right has the right of way.
