A Beaver Creek inmate is on the loose. Prison officials say 37 year old Mark David Maxwell Whyte was missing at the 11:45am count today. The OPP were immediately notified and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. He’s described as 6 feet tall and weighs 190 lbs, with blue eyes and brown hair. He has a tattoo of a skull and flames on his left forearm, a tiger on his upper left arm and a dagger on his right forearm. Whyte is currently serving a 5 year, 1 month sentence for Break and Enter and Possession of Stolen property convictions. Anyone with any information is asked to call police.
